Planning a small shower or birthday party in Astoria and don’t know where to start?  Let me help!

Once you’ve settled on a venue and date, I will pull together all of the pretty little details that will make your event a memorable one.  Here is how it works:

1.  Let’s Chat:  I will asses your direction (if any) with a talk or an online questionnaire to help pull some inspiration out of you!

2.  Mood:  I provide a mood board for approval (like the above) to help keep focus.

3.  Direction:  I deliver a digital document with product and vendor recommendations for rentals and purchases for the following as needed: invitations, photography, dessert, decor, and favors.  It’s like following a road map, stress-free and no research needed!

4.  Set up:  I will be on site to set up all of the details that were so carefully planned.  You can sip champagne while your guests arrive and for once, not be running around.

Mini Event Design + Set up Packages start at $450.00 for small parties under 40 guests in Astoria.  Prices vary according to amount of planning time prior to event and amount of day-of set up time and labor required.

Purslane Catering Luncheon at 501 Union

I just had to share a few photos that photographer Fiona Melder captured at Purslane Catering‘s recent luncheon at 501 Union.  We were so happy to see our mismatched floral plates, three tier china stands, salt + pepper shakers + clear pressed glass goblets adorning the grand wood table.  Starling on Bond provided some lovely flowers + styling too.  Beautiful set up everyone!

Cosabella + Erin Fetherston Collection Launch Party Preview

Recently, Little Vintage Rentals had the honor of participating in Cosabella‘s launch party celebrating Erin Fetherston‘s new lingerie line!  We just loved how Alana Jones Mann styled the event and created a DIY flower crown station using silk blooms.  Our floral tins, bottles, china and some props like our record player and pastel colored suitcases fit in perfectly.  Special thanks to Kate Neal Photography for these amazing photos!

Joy Thigpen’s Creative Direction + Styling Workshop

The Inn at Serenbe was breathtakingly beautiful.  The air was crisp and the sun crept into every inch of the grounds.  I stayed for three days to participate in Joy Thigpen‘s Creative Direction + Styling Workshop with twenty lovely wedding industry women.   It was inspiring and I am grateful to have heard first hand about Joy’s journey.  I look forward to putting much of the knowledge Joy shared into practice.

I roomed with Danielle from Flutter Fete in Dogwood Cottage.  It was adorable and we made sure not to miss breakfast!

The last day of the workshop we created floral centerpieces.  The two directly below are from my new Florida friends; Danielle from Flutter Fete (left) and Yesy from Love In Vintage (right).

The photo above is a detail of my own creation (I really love berries and texture) and below is a full photo.  I had fun creating this piece and can’t wait to practice a bit now that I am back!

Heritage Table

We recently designed a few tables for a wedding at The Thatched Cottage.  The Heritage Table (as we called it) was part “Happily Every After” and part “In Loving Memory”.  The table was so fun to design and I thought I’d share some of our personal photos!

This week we took a stroll through the New York Weddings Event with our friend from Cookie Fairy Sweets!  We had a fun time and were completely blown away by our client, Designs by Ahn, who used a few of Little Vintage Rentals’ pieces in their booth.  We just had to share the beautiful scene they created with our olive chair, half moon table and some assorted suitcases – Tres Chic!

The Green Building Open House

This week we were honored to participate in The Green Building’s Open House!  Our new friend Khaki Bedford provided these amazing images of our table set-up and even snapped some fun photo booth shots as well!  Poppy’s Catering was on hand passing out yummy treats to the newly engaged couples and a fun time was had by all.  Hope to see you at the next one!
