Table Top Tuesday | 11

For installment eleven of Table Top Tuesday,  I am loving this neutral color story with black accents via Style Me Pretty.   Photographer Clayton Austin captured this table at all the right angles to fully appreciate the handiwork of Taylor Lord; her concrete candle holders create just enough drama among the greenery.

What makes this work?  I love the twist of organic meets modern with concrete candle pillars + lucite chairs matched with yards of sprawling greenery.

What details make a difference?  The smokey grey + black glassware and black velvet ribbon are the details that make this table top stand out.  The eucalyptus sprig is almost too pretty to untie from the ribbon!

Madame Grès

Madame Grès

Madame Grès

Madame Grès was a French haute couture designer known for her cut out designs showcasing skin as part of the design.  She dressed some of the most fashionable women from the 1930s until the 1980s when she sold the brand.  Madame Grès herself was a trained sculptress which many compared her fine draping skills to.  This neutral + grey color story is divine!
