Table Top Tuesday | 14

For installment fourteen of Table Top Tuesday,  I am overwhelmed by the light simplicity created by Jessica Sloane and captured beautifully by Jessica Loren.  This wedding’s table top blows me away with an airy and classic feeling.  It’s so well done!

For installment six of Table Top Tuesday, I stumbled upon this colorful table top inspiration from Vicki Grafton Photography + Stefanie Kapra Photography.

What makes this work?  Fresh pops of spring time color!  The orange, pink and yellow flowers bring life to this table top.  I love the single buds strewn about and the spray of pink ombre stock flower tied with a sunshine yellow ribbon.  If I were a guest at this party, it would immediately make me smile.

What details make a difference?  The white calligraphy is so elegant on the light brown escort cards and menu and again, the flowers.  The scabiosa pods add a wonderful contrast in texture to all of the very soft blooms.  So well done!

Table Top Tuesday | 4

Rylee Hitchner Photography Flowers + Styling by Mandy Forlenza Sticos

For installment four of Table Top Tuesday, I am sharing my own little creation photographed by the uber talented Rylee Hitchner at the recent Joy Thigpen Workshop.  I created this centerpiece the day before the photographs were taken and it was looking a little limp, so we decided to pair it with my favorite accessories – dishes, glassware, flatware and a cloth napkin!  I love the way it turned out in the photographs, so soft and dreamy.  Thanks Rylee!

What makes this work?  For me, it’s the soft tones captured on Rylee’s film photography (I heart film) and the abundance of textured pieces I chose for the centerpiece.

What details make a difference?  Those tony blue berries on a slate grey napkin pull it together!  Thanks to Joy for loaning a vintage handkerchief from your kit to make it happen at 7:00am before we all departed for home!

My personal photographs from Joy’s workshop can be found here, in case you missed it.
